Mr Fagan has been closely involved with an international group of surgeons and physicians based primarily in Europe. The purpose of this group was to formulate guidelines for the use of vertebral body augmentation in osteoporosis. This would hopefully help clinicians in their decision making but also aid healthcare commissioners with decisions about how and who to help best.This research is due to be published soon in Pain Physician.
